Join us for a rare, in-depth experience of Traditional Japanese Medicine at Toyoshinkyu, Japan's premier acupuncture school with roots in the classical Koho Ha tradition.
This is more than a seminar, it's a cultural, clinical, and philosophical immersion into the healing arts.
Participants will learn alongside Japanese acupuncture students at the very institution founded by Sorei Yanagiya, a pivotal figure in modern Japanese acupuncture.

Yanagiya was not only a master clinician and educator but also a philosopher who championed a return to the Classics. His leadership helped restore the status and vitality of Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion after the turmoil of World Wars I and II.
Sorei Yanagiya is remembered as a global ambassador of Japanese medicine. His European tour in 1955 under the invitation of the French International Society of Acupuncture and Moxibustion introduced his refined skill to over 5,000 physicians, leaving an indelible legacy.
He insisted on the integration of classical texts and clinical experimentation, holding firm that acupuncture is both art and science, and that without the artistry, the medicine becomes hollow.
This seminar showcases the diversity of Traditional Japanese Medicine. you will be exposed to a wide range of styles from Meridian Therapy and aesthetic acupuncture to Shudo-style contact needling and advanced moxibustion methods.
The aim is to reflect TJM’s nuanced and individualized approach to patient care.
