Meet Yasuda Sensei, a master instructor and esteemed practitioner in the field of traditional Japanese acupuncture, moxibustion, and shiatsu. Born in Tokyo in 1957, Yasuda Sensei initially pursued a career in advertising after graduating from International Christian University. His path took a transformative turn when he enrolled at the Oriental Acupuncture and Moxibustion School, obtaining his licenses as an Acupuncturist, Moxibustion Therapist, and Anma/Massage/Shiatsu Practitioner. In 1986, he joined Mujuku, now the Iyashi no Michi Association, where he studied under renowned practitioner Kanpū Yokota and received the honorable dōgō title "Mukan."
With decades of dedication to traditional healing arts, Yasuda Sensei currently serves as an advisor to the Iyashi no Michi Association and, as of April 2024, holds the title Isshinsai (一鍼斎) as a master instructor within the association. Alongside his teaching and advisory roles, he brings his expertise to "Kanpōdō," an acupuncture and moxibustion clinic connected to Seikatsu Club Consumers' Cooperative Kanagawa, where he applies his skills in holistic health to support the well-being of his community.
